Hidden Leaks

Hidden Leaks are the little areas where money is slipping away unseen. These are small drips that can add up to hundreds of dollars each year. Plugging these hidden leaks are one way you can save money without feeling the pinch.
Here is our hidden leak tip for the day. Pull out your credit card and bank statements and look for subscriptions you may have signed up for and forgotten. These can include auto club memberships, networking subscriptions you no longer use, old internet providers and even gym memberships.
We did this two years ago and discovered we had almost $50/month being pulled automatically from our Credit Card for services we no longer used.
What can you find on your statements?

Hi Tiffany -
Great suggestion! Recently, I was offered a “deal” by my telephone provider. When I went to their store and spoke to a representative, I found I could get an even better deal with the features I needed. Since I only use my cell phone for emergencies and business-related calls, I took one of plans with less minutes.
Thanks for the tips.
Blessings,
Susan
